Felt Pad
A felt pad is designed to go under your ironing cover to give extra padding to the ironing surface.
They are especially useful under mesh boards and will provide a better surface for ironing.
The felt pad comes as a
50 x 150 cm rectangle and can be cut down to fit any size of board smaller than this.
We use synthetic felt, because it withstands heat to a higher temperature than a natural fibre.
The felt is about 4mm deep and when combined with our felt backed covers it gives a good depth of padding.
The felt is washable at 30 degrees and is suitable for dry or steam ironing.
